Toler — Terms of Use & Medical Disclaimer
Updated: 26 October 2026.
- Service. Toler (the "App") is provided by Nexo Apex S.L., Spain. By using it you accept these terms. Where Apple's or Google's store terms are stricter, those prevail for the purchase and licence of the App.
- Information, not medical advice. The App gives general dietary information derived from ingredient lists, public databases (Open Food Facts) and on-device image recognition, all of which can be incomplete, outdated or wrong. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose, and does not replace the advice of a doctor, allergist or dietitian. Always read the actual product label. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, never rely on the App alone.
- Your responsibility. You choose which sensitivities to enable and how to act on results. Photo recognition describes what a dish usually contains, not the specific dish in front of you.
- Availability. Barcode lookups depend on third-party services and connectivity; we may change or discontinue features.
- Toler Plus. A one-time in-app purchase that removes advertising in the App on devices signed in with the same store account. Refunds are handled by Apple / Google under their policies.
- Intellectual property. The App, its design and its ingredient knowledge base are © Nexo Apex S.L. Product data is from Open Food Facts under the ODbL; the food classifier is Google's AIY Vision model (Apache-2.0); fonts are under the SIL OFL.
- Liability. To the extent permitted by law, Nexo Apex S.L. is not liable for damages arising from reliance on the App's information. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish or EU consumer law.
- Law. Spanish law; consumers keep the protection of their country of residence. Contact: hi@nexoapex.com.
